Winter 2005 General Meetings:

Regional Director
2nd year, Pre-Economics

I am a second year Pre-Economics major and Regional Director of Bruin Republicans. I am a republican because I value freedom and liberty -- the tenants on which our nation was founded. I uphold the traditions of liberty via capitalism. I believe that government should be solely concerned with upholding (non-contradictory) individual rights; every person has a right to do whatever they want as long as they do not directly harm anyone else.
I am also the co-founder and vice-chairman of a club called L.O.G.I.C. This stands for Liberty, Objectivity, Greed, Individual, Capitalism- a group devoted to the promotion of reason (rational thinking) as a means tomake decisions, and, more generally, as a way of life. This group is dedicated to raising awareness via political activism; we would be considered libertarian-leaning on most issues. The group meets on Wednesdays at 7-9PM at Math and Sciences 5230. If you would like to get involved, e-mail me: [email protected]
My sources of inspiration include Ayn Rand, Ronald Reagan, and Thomas Jefferson.
