Winter 2005 General Meetings:

Tuesday, Royce 362, 6:30 pm

Vice-Chairman
4rd year, Applied Mathematics

Apart from his dashing good looks, Nick boasts brings two other elements of propriety to the Bruin Republicans' rank and file: he is a genuine African American (from Cape Town, South Africa), and a former liberal.
When he is not uprooting communist plots on campus, he is playing profoundly bad golf, even worse tennis, trying to work out, or managing an attention deficit disorder. Nick found himself leaving the fold of socialist idealism by a series of events whose sum pushed him towards the GOP. Socially, Nick refound his Christian faith and continues to seek further spiritual enrichment and a surrounding culture that defends traditional American values. Politically and economically, the Republican-driven War on Terror, European whining, the ousting of former California Governor Gray Davis, and his major's emphasis in economics
helped to solidify his allegiance to a conservative worldview.
Occassionally Nick contributes to the Daily Bruin, and his articles are listed within this website. Nick will be graduating in June, whereupon he will be working outside the Banana Republic of California until attending Business School in 2006.
